Reverse Glass Sign - Giesinger Bräu München
This reverse glass sign was made as an bachelor thesis project in communication design at the HTW Berlin. Various techniques, such as water gilding, sandblasting, etching and glue chipping were used to create a piece that displays the beatiful richness of reverse glass art.
Therefore I combined 23,75 karat gold leaf with 23 karat lemon gold leaf and 18 karat moon gold leaf to provide a shine and dignity that no other material can provide. In addition I inlayed abalone shell as another classic material. The linework is screen printed with 1 Shot lettering enamel and the colors are handpainted with 1 Shot colors either.
